Dancing and couple farewell
-
A wedding reception is a celebratory party held after the marriage ceremony to honour the new couple. It's a more relaxed event where family and friends gather to eat, drink, dance, and socialise, often including traditions like speeches, cake cutting, and a first dance.
-
A typical flow includes a drinks reception, followed by formal events like the grand entrance, first dance, speeches, and cake cutting. The evening often continues with dancing, social mingling, and may end with a grand exit.
How to Get Here
While this venue is located in Central London and so is public transport-friendly, the event is on the 27th which is during Christmas week and due to which there may be delays or closures with public transport.
We would personally recommend cars where possible.
Taxi
Taxi recommendations include: Bolt, FreeNow, and Uber. It’s a good idea to download the apps to receive in-app or first-time user discounts, and to also compare fare price and driver availability between them.
We would not recommend using black cabs as they can be very pricey, especially at this time of year.
Parking (If Driving)
No parking is available at the venue. The nearest parking available is Q-Park, which is a car park roughly a 10-minute walk from the venue itself.
Public Transport
Transport for London, also known as TfL, is the integrated transport authority responsible for London's public transport system. It manages services like the London Underground (also known as the ‘tube’), buses, Docklands Light Railway, and London Overground, as well as major roads and schemes like the congestion charge.
You can help plan your journey using their website: tfl.gov.uk
You can use any of their services as a tourist with a contactless card. You also have the option to buy tickets or passes if you’d like, but contactless should suffice if you only need to travel in London for our wedding events and not much else.
